For over five decades, it has been a beacon of hope, spiritual renewal, and community transformation.

Children’s Ministry

Born out of crisis in February 2019, the Children’s Ministry began when Pastor Brenus, trapped by riots and roadblocks, saw the suffering of local children and started feeding them with what little he had.

Today, we serve 50 children weekly with:

Saturday hot meals
Morning sports and Bible teachings
Sunday Christian lessons and worship participation
4 paid staff and 2 volunteers

Brenus Etienne
DVCM’s Executive Director

Brenus Etienne is the son of the late Pastor Frederick Etienne, founder of L’Estere Christian Church. He is the Founder and Executive Director of Double Vision Christian Ministries (DVCM) and Missionary Pastor of L’Estere Christian Church in Haiti.

A graduate of Cincinnati Bible College & Seminary with a degree in Biblical Studies, he was ordained in 1990 by the Elders of Westwood Cheviot Church of Christ (now Whitewater Crossing Christian Church) in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Guided by a lifelong passion for evangelism, Brenus founded DVCM in 1994 to expand Gospel outreach in Haiti and later partnered with Outreach International, helping the ministry grow and thrive. In 2023, DVCM became a registered nonprofit organization, continuing Brenus’s mission to share Christ’s love through faith, service, and compassion.

Under his leadership, the L’Estere Christian Church in Haiti expanded from just 13 members to more than 160 adults.

Accomplishing the Goal

DVCM reaches unreached Haitians through evangelism, leadership training, and biblical education.

In addition to empowering people with the gospel, it is vital to meet the short-term physical needs of the community by providing nutritional aid to support physical, emotional, and spiritual development.

Our goal is to provide a lasting impact in the community by making disciples that make disciples.

Church Growth & Leadership

Under the leadership of Pastor Brenus Etienne, National Missionary & Executive Director, the church has experienced significant growth and flourished. Since his arrival in 2016, the congregation has grown from 13 members to over 150 attendees.
